The Queensland Government has announced construction of a new state special school in Coomera, Gold Coast. It is planned to open in 2028 for up to 162 students.
Stage one includes 27 learning spaces, a multipurpose hall, resource centre, play areas and bus facilities. Community consultation will help choose the school’s name.
